  • Depends entirely on the situation, really. Like a large castle is going to be relatively incapable of keeping out various wildlife on a massive scale, so a bird or rat running around isn’t really an issue off hand. Maybe keep an eye on it to note any sus behavior, but otherwise animals exist. But if they’re in sensitive areas, then it becomes considerably more alarming. Sure, it could just be a rat, but it also could be a fuckin’ druid in which case killing the bird/rat/bat/whatever on sight might be a reasonable response. This also has the added benefit of allowing for a guard who might be a fan of animals and not want to hurt them, which gives the player an alternate path/chance to take things with.

    I miss DMing

Nah. I’d say what ruins the spirit of Star Trek is when people see a Trek they don’t like and the first thing they do is just complain about it. The new shows do not and cannot ruin the spirit of the old ones. They still exist. They stand. Unchanged. Character development, whether you like it or not, does not hampen lessons learned or impact from the older shows.

Let people enjoy the new shows in peace. Not everything requires a negative comment for literally no reason, completely unprompted.

And they can fuck off. America is completely incompatible with Canadian values. The Democratic party is so far right leaning that they’re almost a 1:1 to the Canadian Conservative party. Combine that with the demographics and Canada would immediately be thrown into a rightwing spiral.

No thanks. If they want to join Canada they can emmigrate like anyone else.

    No. It isn’t.

This is the original image posted in 2022. AI was straight up not capable of this at that time. There is literally NOTHING about this photo that suggests AI other than the different text. People on Lemmy are turning into Facebook Grandparents but in reverse. People on Facebook can’t tell something is AI but people on here can’t tell what is real. I’ve had posts removed that I could prove were not AI as they were taken from multiple angles and were dated well before AI were capable of certain things but nah. Gotta be removed because the mod felt like they were AI.

It’s gone past ridiculous and has cycled into pathetic.
