YES. If you’re gonna spend a lot on a tattoo, absolutely pay more for quality. Seeing a poorly done tattoo just makes me sad. I think you’ll have that ugly thing on your skin for the rest of your life. A good tattoo is always worth it.

Apparently, applying window tint is more difficult than it seems.

I regularly see cars with large bubbles between the tint and the glass. I decided years ago that if I want window tint but can’t afford to have it professionally applied, then I can’t afford tint. Having no tint at all is better than living with poorly applied tint.

Ironically, that was one of the reasons we dropped the bombs when we did. Stalin was already being difficult when the Allies were trying to split up Germany. Truman knew that if one drop of Russian blood was spilled invading Japan, Stalin would demand territory in return. Truman didn’t want to deal with that, so we didn’t even give Russia a vague notification beforehand.

It was so catastrophic and powerful that the Japanese didn’t believe that just one bomb could be so powerful. Plus, information travelled much more slowly then. That’s why the US waited a day before dropping the second.

Well, we’re all seen as a bunch of heathens, so I guess this sort of thing is inevitable. Not cool, but inevitable.

I think it’s ridiculous that corporations are simultaneously spending billions on technology that they know doesn’t work. A smart CEO would wait for a real breakthrough, and then invest. Nobody gets it 100% right the very first time. WAIT. Nobody will care if you’re a late bloomer, as long as your software actually lives up to its advertising.

The technology has potential, but right now, potential is all it has.
