BIG bright statement earrings, chunky bracelets, yellow or pink tights, and doc marten boots
That sounds great! Best part is you can buy pink tights that have pockets! 🤣
Oh my goodness, thanks for holding down the sanity in that comment section with me lol
My flabbers were gasted when he really suggested that models and women taking selfies represent the majority of women worldwide.
Honestly, I had already tagged half the folks who argued as “misogynists on pockets” from the last time I got into that argument.
My gabbers were so flasted that I almost spit out my coffee. I hope you have a wonderful day 💚
Enjoy your garden! :)
That comment reeks of a man being genuinely unaware that women who he doesn’t attractive exist.
Every pair of jeans shown in that thread could have been made with front pockets of any depth. The only styles of jeans that cannot be built with deep pockets are those with front patch pockets, and jean shorts. Jeans are a work garment and should have usable pockets. Tiny pockets are an entirely willful and malicious choice by clothing manufacturers.
The tiny pockets mean that women have to use the rear pockets. If any pockets should be sewn shut, purely for decoration it should be those. Rear pockets go directly over the sit bones. Having things in the rear pockets when sitting, effects posture, and causes extra and unnecessary strain to the lower parts of the spine. All this to say, tiny pockets are not just an annoyance, they are a genuine health concern.
Sorry if this is a non sequitur. My brain started going after reading that thread and I had to put the thoughts somewhere.
I also appreciate your thoughts!
Completely off topic from the original post (sorry), but that’s the type of man who only sees it as vapid women complaining about fashion. It’s why they always link to The Gap or Old Navy or Amazon search results. Every. Single. Time. They think it’s easy and that they are helping, women are just being silly and complaining about fashion.
Every woman I have noticed who argues about pockets, especially in jeans, comes from a place of utility. It shows the man’s misogyny when that type of framing is used to argue with women about this topic. Pretty little girls want pretty jeans so we can be pretty and attract a man.
No worries, I enjoy reading others thoughts! And you’re totally right.
I would not wear that dress. It would be particularly unflattering on me, but also that font seam is egregious. Its located so prominently directly in the center, the fabric pattern is so course and high contrast the lack of any pattern matching draws my eye immediately. I dislike.
Yeah, it is basically the total opposite of what I need a dress to do for my body, would look great on some I’m sure but for me, absolutely not.
I’d wear it on a hot day with a pair of shorts underneath and a pair of sneakers. I could totally see this as a thrifting or used bookstore kind of outfit or going out to lunch or dinner with friends. Definitely with big earrings, probably my black and white polka dot earrings that have a copper shading on top.
I might even put my mohawk up for that outfit!
