Whats the difference between Georgia and Germany?
It only took one Sherman to get Georgia to surrender
The fun thing is I dont actually care for Naughty Dog games like Uncharted or The Last of Us (they have great stories but I’m not interested in them as games). HOWEVER conceptually, that new sci-fi game looked cool.
I also agree that Civ games usually need some time—or rather, their two expansions. Civ 4, Civ 5, and Civ 6 all got two expansions that GREATLY improved the game imho. So, in theory you want to play a Civ game two years later to get the best possible experience. But I’m a little goblin that can’t wait for CIV7 so I’m going to play it on day one.
Agree on Project Century. Feels like a very rare and unique setting.
Witcher 4 has massive potential, but I can also see it fumbling.
Finally, on Outer Worlds—I did like Outer Worlds 1. I had fun with it (haven’t tried the DLCs yet or the remaster), but I also thought it didn’t reach its full potential. I hope Outer Worlds 2 can go further, especially in the RPG aspects, than the first game.
I actually would like to finish it one day -but I suffer from the first world problem that I legit can think of probably 20+ games I would rather play through / put some time into
I probably would go back and finish it if I want to play Witcher 4 - I did like the 30h I played or so of it. With that said I got wayyy to many other things I would rather play at the moment. I can see why its beloved though.
Same :)
Im in a similar boat. I cant really think of anything besides The Game Awards that I watch on a yearly basis like this. Since its only once a year, its also not a big commitment. I wouldnt have done it this year if I didnt have Friday off work though. The funny thing is, Im not really interested in most games that are announced, but I do like to keep in touch with the games industry and future releases—if only because most of my friend circle are also gamers.
Games that were cool for me this year (that im looking forward to)
Civilization 7 is probably my most wanted game for 2025 atm
Helldivers 2 got a massive update today
Killing Floor 3 comes out in March and I quite liked Killing Floor 2
Outer Worlds 2 comes out in 2025 I am at least curious about this one
Also the Borderlands series is a guilty pleasure of mine so Im waiting for the 4th game in the series
Anything that caught your eye ?
I didnt dislike Outerworld but it was also nothing special. So they certainly could improve with the 2nd game.
Looks cool but I didnt even manage to finish Witcher 3 so I doubt I will pick up Witcher 4 when it releases.

Funny enough, I was in theater as a kid, but I dont claim the title of theater kid. I was asked if I would partake in a couple of plays by one of my teachers and I was bad at saying no to things back then. One thing led to another, and suddenly Im playing the third most biggest role in some plays. It wasnt a bad experience, though.
I will say the other theater kids I met were super cool people though
