Bluesky users really seem to not understand what the platform actually is, coming from a user myself that actually enjoys it. You already have the ability to adjust your feeds as well as create your own and use some made by others so no need to use the optional app. Most of those feeds are publicity editable too so you can change what others users see in their “For You” feed. It’s probably the most transparent around while also being pretty easy to hijack what someone sees if they think it’s just some standard social media site of 5 years ago. Protection for the troops a month after starting the war and 13 of the nearby bases destroyed… there doesn’t even seem to be a plan on where to place these additional 50,000 troops arriving within the next 2 weeks other than leaving them as sitting ducks in ships. There was never a plan … they are winging it I really hope everyone is realizing this. If it wasn’t for some of the naval commanders already saying no to the madmen on bringing our ships closer to shore for an invasion so far, the number of casualties would be alot higher on both sides.

The mid 2010s. I miss my old LG G5, the ability to customize the hardware with the USB c port and hesdphone jack being a simple replacement was a gamechanger for me. The LG G6 was a downgrade from nearly all the features of it’s papa besides the better internal chip and camera but you still lost all manual control button use with the upgrade sicne that was an attachment mod as well as the DAC.

Self defense in middle school. I was awkward for at least 2 years due to some life events (bipolar mom that kicked me out of not being g perfect in school, forced to move with dad that did not know how to psrent and didn’t finish middle school himself) Great in class but it took a while to start interacting with all the new people I’m meeting. Ended up leading to a few fights from some of them associated with a gang and police were involved since it was “zero tolerance” never got charged since the teachers would request the footage so I wouldn’t get charged for the mess but it was stressful. High school was with the same kids, at least half of them didn’t graduate

I’ve seen it randomly in store while I was down in Florida in a neighborhood nearby that was full of the retired Jersey shore residents that come down for the winter. Its not something I’d personally drink but know a good amount of people that love it. Probably never took off since the name is the exact same as the protein drink while being a complete opposite lol

Got a Moto G Stylus about a month ago, great phone so far. Selling point for me was the micro sd card slot and the headphone jack but it seems so far as an overall great device. Only issue I’ve come across is the light sensor takes a bit to let it focus when scanning or codes, which is something I do daily but is an extra like 5 seconds per scan attempt compared to my Samsung S22 ultra, which got replaced since it can only charge wireless now

Stephen Miller to me is the equivalent of Heinrich Himmler, who was the brain of the Nazi Regime in its worst while being the right hand man of Hitler. Im sure it’s easy to make trump belive any video was a nearly 80 tear old man liek all the other seniors that fall for AI on the daily, we have no clue the Intel they fees him that makes him more evil by the day

Those around him have to be showing him AI videos, every reaction of his to clips of something happening are so detached of what’s going on. This isn’t new but becoming more and more blatant by the day

They like this until he accidentally leaks something classified like the idiots that would upload their “Day in the life of” videos typing in pincodes and passwords and the wrong person sees it or goes back to see it an old video. Some horrible long term thinking for a software security team to allow

Given the example and you mentioning should not be dating at your ages, are we sure these people actually are the “17 year old guy” and not either creeps of funnels to get people looking for people those ages? Your friends should try is possible to look more in person within school than strangers on whatever app/site they are using.

To answer your question though, some people don’t consider there being much of a connection online and there being the entire city as your potential options that ghosting isn’t looked at as an issue on their end as they were never commited enough to the conversation to begin with. There are a lot of bots as well so there may have never been a person there you’re talking to. I personally hate the apps but am actively looking to date and its a unsettlingly common experience to get ghosted after meeting someone I’m person once or twice as there testing the waters in their eyes or looking for a happy ending so I’d rather just use them sparingly.
