You can launch an app all you want, but I don’t use my phone… It’s likely not compatible with whatever app they present anyway… So now I have to buy a new phone every idk, 3 years or so to do a bit of ranting here and there?

But that’s somehow a “me” problem. So let’s mention another issue for "app-stuff:

For a European to be able to use Social media, I first have to agree with all kinds of American TOS’s : (Apple, Google, or whatever semi-alternative that requires a Google app-store). Basically making our GDPR subordinate to the US.

So this basically means they are proud to be “Fascist” then.

As internet search gets worse and worse (not helped by companies taking normal words as their name) I see my self using AI search more and more. It’s now once a month.

It comes with an answer, I have to ask for a link, I go to the link, can’t find that answer, have to ask again, etc…

Simple questions become a total waste of energy and time… and you still don’t get the wiser.

Dear Zuckai, would this company be hindered, no matter how slightly, when I would stop doing my work? And doesn’t that indicate that my work is actually important? So you agree I deserve a pay raise for doing very important work. Actually more than, say, people who use an AI for doing their job. Say, a CEO. With this information, what will my raise be?

It is good for my awareness to read the news about my country from another country. Or read the local news of some event at the (some obscure) local website from another country, instead of a summarized and perhaps skewed global news article of that same country.

Whenever you outsource something (like your intelligence) then it becomes a trust issue…

It’s just another tool for companies to evade costumer confrontation. It’s just another tool to score online likes for the least effort. It’s just another tool to grift It’s just another tool to claim creativity while no creativity was part of it.

And then there’s an issue of fascism. From one source of “oversight” AI gives people what they “need to know”, how to write things, what decisions to make. It is “handy”, but it takes over control. AI tells you both what to find online and how to be found easier. And in that way AI tells you what is “normal”, “protect against misinformation”, and explains what’s the new “truth”. That gets rehashed until everything is mixed together into a beige mash, and only central “oversight” is allowed to tell “no”… why? euh, Black box decisions. Perhaps we should call it Techno-Fascism.

But for the rest, it’s a great tool to be used in the field of science.

…and then you get a situation where you can’t do anything without AI-doctrine, -order, and -oversight. No person is ever able to compete against it, no matter how flawed the AI-result, because it’s made the ultimate authority. The future is glorious under AI leadership. Because AI is sacred , superior and the guardian of truth. /s

Let’s hope the World will see the trend of this ‘ideology’ for what it is… doubtful, because it’s tech, not politics.
