It reminds me of how nursing homes are operated. I know so many people whose grandparents’ homes got sold to pay for their nursing home bills. My grandma went into a nursing home with a need for PT, but otherwise fully independent. She was supposed to get out in like a month. They just kept lengthening her stay. Turns out she got there, they almost immediately declared her bed bound, and put her into a room alone. By the time we pulled her out because they were trying to admit her indefinitely, she could barely talk and she never walked again. I don’t think she was even getting her PT. But she gained her ability to talk back and boy did she have some shit to say about that place.

I take 2mg in the morning and 1mg before bed. No t blockers, but given that my t was naturally low and then dropped after starting e I figured that was okay. I’m not really looking to be as feminine as possible and when I started out it was even less so so that’s why we started real low.

I’m 6’4” and I wear a size 3 for bottoms and a size 4 or 5 in tops depending on how they fit and what’s available. Like I like their really baggy cardigans

I get them at Torrid for the most part. They’re more money than some other places but I feel like they last longer and are more comfortable.

My levels before I started HRT had me at 50 pg/mL of estradiol and for some reason I can’t find my testosterone levels listed but they were naturally below the male range, I do remember that.

A reading earlier this year had my estradiol at 59.4 pg/mL. Then for testosterone there are two entries, both without units for some reason, but the one with a reference range of 250-1100 was measured as 93 and the one with a reference range of 35.0-155.0 was measured as 14.3.

Huh. I’ve been on e for over a year but it’s a low dose and I haven’t really seen any physical changes. The emotional and mental changes have been wonderful. But I put no effort into looking feminine aside from wearing leggings occasionally. Maybe I need to do more stuff like that?

I think part of it is that I’m almost 400 lbs and both of my grandmas were scrawny. I’ve also been compared to my maternal grandpa my whole life and I can see a lot of his features on me, but I don’t see much of either of my grandmothers at all
