With the ‘butterfly effect’, who knows how that could ripple out? Even in the smallest ways it matters on some mysterious cosmic scale. Due to various circumstances of life, like disability for example, we can’t always be the ones fighting on the front lines. All I can do is love wherever I can, so that’s what I’m going to do. I really do believe even the tiniest spark of love matters in the face of the globally-spanning demon god of Capital, whose Trauma Machine attempts to smother us all in a blanket of sorrow.

I think at this point you’ve broken your brain so much that your only option is to get spiritual or something. Focus on love. I knew there was something off about that guy. He started putting out videos of gnosticism, and I thought hmm that’s interesting, what’s all that about? Turns out gnosticism believes that the world around us is like some fake projection, called the ‘demiurge’, created by evil entities to make you suffer, and therefore the solution to that is to just go within and ignore the world, turn away and walk away from it, become one with God and ascend. I think that’s sus, like why even incarnate then if you’re supposed to just ignore this? It honestly seems like such a terribly convenient thing to say to people when you’re trying to convince them that it’s pointless to act in the world, to change it, to resist oppression, that the world doesn’t matter and is fake, and you gotta just ignore it. very sus!!

Also his interpretation of game theory like, it makes sense, but it also paints a very dog-eat-dog picture of the world that zero-sum neoliberals love. I don’t know enough to argue against it, but I’m like >:(
