If they can hold your healthcare over you, you will do a lot more to make sure you don’t get fired, giving them more power over you. I guess they all assume that is more valuable than what they currently pay for health insurance.

That’s fine, you don’t need to know stuff about every single subject. The important part is that SOME people should really be studying this stuff. As it can reveal very important info about the places where we live.
Wormholes that transfer information faster than light are currently thought to be impossible. So saying it’s possible at all is a bit of a stretch.

A single person can, but not every single person who chooses to is able to. You have to be born in very specific conditions or get very lucky to be able to enact meaningful change on a world scale.

Why don’t we just invent an entropy reversing machine?

There is legal obligation to honor the shelf tag if it says a product should be lower than what it rang up for. Otherwise it’s essentially a bait and switch, and can usually get a store in trouble if a customer complains to the right people.

Were they designed as anti-material or anti-materiel? Materiel is a specific military term for vehicles and equipment.

Uhhh, have you looked at pc prices recently?

Voting will be harder mostly for people who vote left. So even if some Republican voters are disenfranchised it will still be a positive swing for the GOP

Whistleblower recently revealed that employees at meta could (and do) just look at anyone’s chat threads. So they absolutely have a backdoor.

The title is really poorly punctuated I think. I think it’s trying to say “Trump says he’s been rejected by NATO/most allies to join mission to secure critical Strait of Hormuz”

Made a joke about someone killing him, literally right after the assassination attempt. I think that context is pretty important. I think it was a rash decision that was likely more of an “oh shit I think this will really affect my career” more so than an endorsement of trump.

Damn, we should let those experts who have been studying this for their entire lives that you reject the theory! They’re going to be so bummed they have to go back to the drawing board and throw out all the evidence and experiments they have done!

And it needs to be accurate enough to focus on an unsecured clear cable in uncontrollable weather conditions for a long enough time. You’d need a lot more power than what the basic physics in an ideal scenario would suggest.

That’s a very hard question to answer because each state runs elections differently. In my state we just get our ballot by mail and you send that in with your signature. If you don’t have an address there are polling places available, but it’s been so long I’m not certain how they check ID.

Even if electricity costs doubled, it would still only cost me 20 bucks a month to run my EV.

Very ironic typo there

Do those hobbies include spending a lot of time in nature outdoors? An activity that has also been shown greatly improves mental health?
That’s fair enough I guess. I would say you are, and I mean this quite literally, the FIRST person I have ever seen that read the books and think the show is awful. So maybe you should give it more than one episode to hook you. It took me 3 episodes before it truly grabbed me and I couldn’t stop.
I can kinda see how maybe they meant it in an honorable way? Like “Look at this guy, he stuck to his morals and was an upstanding person.” But it really should have been more clear if that was their intention.
