We didn’t have truancy bot we had a middle age man in a volkswagon rabbit who doubled as a custodian that would drive around the school perimeter to check for truants or people smoking. You could only smoke if you went across the street. lol.

I’ve found Korean love to share their culture and if you show any interest they will shower you with their culture, it’s very nice. I think it’s pretty common though with a lot of people if you show interest. Food is also a big deal to them since it wasn’t so long ago that Korea went through a major famine, people were starving, so they make sure that their neighbors are fed, which is a lot more than I can say for US.

Surprisingly yes although I suspect they will phase them out real soon since you can skip ads. The only way to watch the show again will be on demand, which they put ads all over now. There are a few movie channels that offer ad free, but unless you pay through the nose the only way to avoid ads is to pirate things.

Yeah same here, my Mom will actually DVR stuff and not skip through the ads lol. WTF.

I believe it’s not only playing drums, but hearing loud drums, it’s primal to us. I’m a firm believer in trance dance, losing yourself in the rhythm is very freeing, it’s something humans have been doing since near the dawn of persons.

I’m GenX and I honestly can’t stand to watch ads anymore, they’re all so stupid and I feel like I’ve put in my damn time already with the ads. I suppose that’s why most ads are aimed at younger people until they want to start selling you catheters.

If only more people would share that viewpoint, things would be so much better, the silly is important.
