I am all in on the flasks resetting at a bonfire. In fact I wish all consumables were like that.

One of the few things I really liked about the Witcher 3’s mechanics was how (if I remember right) the consumables reset in a similar way estus does. You found or crafted the thing and then the items you find around the world were used to upgrade them. It was a nice balance - you still search the world for the upgrade materials but once you have the item you can use it knowing you can easily refill it.

Biggest reason for me is that it is annoying to have to farm for items and I could see myself trying out a wider variety of builds based around the various consumables in the games if I didn’t know I’d have to grind to replenish the supply however often. I am also the kind of player that never uses consumables because ‘what if I need it later?’ and this would rectify that problem too.

Can’t argue with that. Would feel a lot better if they were trying various strategies at least. As it is now they appear to have the ‘sit back and let Trump fail’ which may end up getting them congress again but I fear conceding the info space will have long term consequences beyond that.

Yeah I mean there is probably a reason violence is historic. The millions of people who are hunting and farming are much less relevant to how society unfolds than the evil bastards who convince them to take up weapons to enrich themselves.

It’s getting out of control for sure. I guess I don’t mind the pacing so much but the endless movesets you just have to wait through can be irritating.

My biggest gripe is these boss moves they have been adding to punish trying to heal or catch a roll. Like I don’t mind when either happens but when it happens because it was obviously designed that way - that just feels cheap and ruins the organic feel of a battle.

The leadership in the Democratic Party is absolutely miserable at communicating, especially in this digital era. They seem to still believe in the discredited Biden era philosophy that if you simply do good things people will notice.

That’s compounded by the fact that Trump is particularly good with his lizard brain at dominating the airwaves. That makes it much harder to get your messaging out but honestly they are barely even trying. And I’m not sure they have a compelling message to begin with.

Massive antitrust action (especially in media) and wealth tax, getting money out of politics, prosecuting the rampant corruption.

Getting into No Rest for the Wicked again. Played it when it first came out in early access and it has come a very long way since then. Not totally Soulslike but the influence is obvious. They pull mechanics from so many games and you can tell it is made by people who love gaming - plus the art design is fantastic. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend even though it is still maybe a year from full release.
