I am trying to migrate to Solus. I was using Fedora before but since they don’t make clear about their stances on age verification, I’m leaving.

Solus sounds like everything I need for a daily driver (updated packages, sane defaults, no age verification, etc).

Still figuring out how to use root after install tho :/

Fedora is the best. My friend who recently started using Linux persuades me to install NixOS (which I’ve already tried 2 years ago), but I really can’t leave Fedora. Everything just works and are up to date.

Dual booting may be a bad idea. You should run MAS-activated Windows in a VM.
