Geeze I can hear that game over laugh just looking at Sinistar.

3·4 days agoMy city can barely hire enough people willing to drive these busses. I’m not at all surprised that there isn’t a willingness to upgrade them either.

Books@lemmy.world•What book(s) are you currently reading or listening to? April 07English
5·4 days agoI just finished 1Q84, Book 2 by Haruki Murakami over the weekend. I’m excited to finish, but I’ve decided I needed a bit of a break before getting into Book 3.
In the meantime I’ve started There Is No Antimemetics Division by qntm. Tonally very different, but the intro was so intriguing I had to learn more!

4·18 days agoI’m on Book 2 of 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami having finished Book 1 a couple weeks ago. I lost some of my reading momentum during my kid’s March Break, but I’m slowly getting back on that reading horse.

Apple@lemmy.zip•Apple Stores 'running low' on Apple TV, HomePod, and HomePod mini inventoryEnglish
2·20 days agoVery fair. I sometimes get frustrated when a HomePod picks up my questions that I meant for my watch to answer. My other favourite use case is having music stream across the house if I’m home alone, or playing background music if we’re hosting friends.

1·20 days agoI currently have a HomePod mini on every floor that lets me use them as a PA system across the house. Works pretty sweet when I have to call the family for dinner time.

If things work out for Gladu and her constituents, it’ll be interesting to see if the rumour that about 10 other Conservative MPs are considering jumping ship comes true. Hard to tell in this economy, though.
