PTSD is for survivors of trauma, if your trauma is “Running over children in your tank” and you can still hear them screaming when you try to sleep. that isn’t PTSD, that’s called guilt, and they deserve to endure it for the rest of their miserable lives, because that is likely the closest to justice they’ll ever face.
Decided to look into it, and nope, there’s (probably) no twist here. Low-profile indie documentary interviewing seven female Israeli soldiers who were deployed to Palestine and Lebanon which ostensibly is just focused on their PTSD and not any of the horrific evils they were participating in. The director (warning: trash-quality Wikipedia article) claims to have offended Israelis before with her past documentaries, so maaaaybe it’s not what it seems on the surface and that’s the intention? But that seems only barely plausible.

Israelis get offended by anything short of dropping to your knees, handing them missiles, and telling them they can kill whoever they like, yourself included. I wouldn’t get my hopes up
Liberal Zionists are a cancer upon this earth. They will tell you they oppose the suffering of Palestinians but also oppose literally anything and anyone fighting against Israel. They start off every statement with “After the horrific Pogrom on October 7”

Only the most evil of people would not even recognize the pain they have brought upon the world but hyperfocus on the pain of having a conscience whilst trying to be a proficient murderer. Nothing new but it always shocks me, just like the similar American movies and their audience shock me.
