Today that’s next to impossible. Comp Sci students are struggling to even find internships. I was listening to a podcast interviewing a student that applied to over 90 internships, only got 2 interviews, and no callbacks. It’s probably the worst time to try to get into tech right now.

That’s nothing compared to 5 minutes in a Japanese anime.
I doubt many sales. Sales are going to be some of the last people you cut. They’re the ones working to bring money in.
In tech? Yeah that’s low.

Honestly, when Biden picked her I thought it was to build her up as a candidate. Why would you pick a VP from California? It’s not like you need to bolster your California vote as a Democrat. He initially said he would be there bridge to the next generation and I thought maybe he meant through her. But then he gave her all the impossible tasks and kept her out of view. None of it made sense to me.

I don’t think Harris would have won at all. In 2020 she dropped before Iowa… That’s before any vote was even cast. Against Trump Biden polled the worst of all candidates, Harris polled the second worst. There is just no reason to think she would have ever earned that position on the ticket.

It’s not even just the media. It’s everything. Even when I go to my local AHL team games they not only do the national anthem to enforce nationalism, but they’ve also started doing god bless America to enforce the Christo fascism. It’s really revolting.

Fair enough. They have a lot of the problems correct, it’s just the root cause they seem to misunderstand.

3·6 days agoFor future reference, any time you want to coordinate some sort of resistance or even protest, the leadership should get on Meshtastic, MeshCore, or some other equivalent. Encrypted mesh communication over radios. The radios are fairly inexpensive starting at around $40.
The one thing I can agree with MAGA is generally they are against wars. That doesn’t mean the MAGA leaders are, but that was something their voting base was big on.
Add to that the constant American exceptionalism that is pushed to us Americans. We’re constantly told that our military is by far the best and can handle any adversary easily. When you think you have that much power, you want to use it. As Trump’s dementia continues to set in, he has less and less filter on using that power.
Really the only thing the iPhone did is make those things more consumer friendly rather than business focused.
I also remember people installing little Java apps on the woefully underpowered Motorola Razr.

A lot of them aren’t. They’re just decorative, they don’t need to be shaped like an actual coin.
