  • Sounds like the same type of ignorant, idiotic narcissist who insists on his purity and bOtH pArTiEs ArE tHe SaMe LoL aMiRiTe

The horizon looks equally distant from all directions, so he must conclude that He is at the center of the multiverses! Unilateral stomping of rights, cruel chaos for domestic minorities within and also entire nations abroad, is a price he is willing to pay from a comfy distance, as he fondles his smelly little purity, sniffs his fingers, and exhales in smug self-satisfaction… “you’re welcome, people of the world, you’re welcome”.

  • I’m gonna go old school on you, remembering some of the pioneers from an age long past.

In 70s comedy, there was MASH (deftly balancing war and humor), Barney Miller (like a gritty urban Sydney Lumet movie, turned into a sitcom) and Taxi (Danny Devito, Christopher Lloyd and Andy Kauffman, WTF?!!).

In early-80s drama, there was Hill Street Blues (once again, like a gritty urban Sydney Lumet movie, turned into a brilliant ensemble cop drama) and St. Elsewhere (another ensemble, a Boston hospital drama with a good splash of magic realism, this is where Denzel Washington got his start!).

Later in the 80s and early 90s, there was yet another groundbreaking ensemble, Northern Exposure (a quirky and sophisticated half-serious drama, with LOTS of magic realism, about a small, remote Alaska town).

Finally, I can’t go without mentioning my favorite #1 all-time GOAT series, Mad Men. I’ve watched the entire thing at least four times, it’s like reading and re-reading the proverbial “Great American Novel”.

  • Empowering these creatures was easily preventable, and the worst is yet to keep on coming, and coming, and coming… but you know how the average non-voting imbecile is.

“I won’t vote because it feels like a duty, I want voting to be FUN! I want a kinglike charismatic figure with a magical political wand to INSPIRE every breathing moment my ignorant, medieval peasant, eNLigHtEnEd MiNd!”

  • Don’t forget the other gigantic bunch of morons who neglected to vote because their weak little minds are easily manipulated by divide-and-conquer propaganda, bOtH pArTiEs ArE tHe SaMe LoL, all you gotta do is stroke their ego a little bit: “You’re the righteous one by staying home and sitting on your lazy ignorant ass on Election Day! They should give you a goddamned medal for not participating!”, even though the mouth-breathers showed the entire world EXACTLY who they are, since 2015 and more importantly, on January 6, 2021.

    THIS WAS ALL EASILY PREVENTABLE

  • It bears mentioning that none of this would have been necessary if people have gone out and VOTED in numbers like these.

Instead they first passively threw a tantrum enabling this Gestapo, now their country is a global pariah, not to be trusted again, while expending so much more energy, experiencing much more inconvenience and risk than voting, just to send a symbolic message to sociopaths who have the power, enjoy abusing it, and do NOT care to listen.

Which is to say: this is meaningless, voting is everything and you blew it yet again. But people insist on wanting to be inspired by one godking figurehead, refusing to understand how consistently voting just one day a year, in presidentials, midterms and off-years, is how political momentum is built or eroded, how a government is not one godking president, but an entire system with hundreds of thousands of civil servants, elected, appointed and hired, at every level of government, momentum builds slowly.

If Democrats ever win again, it will be with one hand tied behind their back, facing right-wing sabotage every step of the way, just as has happened every time since Jimmy Carter, and if they can’t wave a magic political wand and fix this unfixable mess in one go, the oh-so-precious impatient electorate is going to throw yet another destructive tantrum and back to square minus five or worse.
