  • Bart Sibrel got punched. He is a professional moon landing denier. He makes his living off moon landing denial stuff. He has hassled various Apollo astronauts by ambushing them and insisting they swear on the Bible that they actually went to the moon.

As for Buzz “admitting” that he didn’t go to the moon. Buzz was answering a question from a young girl about why we haven’t gone back to the moon in so long. During his answer he said the words “because we didn’t go there” as part of a longer answer about why we hadn’t gone back. Moon landing deniers clip that and act like it an admission that the moon landings didn’t happen.

Well, making the graphics look realistic is expensive and time consuming. Modern people have developed a really good eye for spotting imperfections so if you want them to believe what they are seeing is real, it takes years of development and high end computers.

As for GTA 6, I don’t know, bloat I guess.

I think you’re a bit turned around. Lemmy.world isn’t all of Lemmy. That’s the entire point. If a specific instance is not moderating to your liking, you can post to other federated instances. Whichever instance has a community that the most users gravitate to will become the hub for that topic. This prevents admins and powermods from controlling the entire network, which is unlike reddit.

As for mods posting a lot in communities, from my experience that’s because some communities have low user engagement and the mods are invested in communities so are posting more.

Ultimately lemmy as a whole is becoming more like reddit every day, and I’m just rocking on the fence deciding if it’s worth keeping.

    Ok?
