I really kind of doubt it’s even possible to make a game as complex as nethack on anything like a traditional 8-bit system but maybe something like Powder?

Had never heard of Powder before, but it looks like a well-crafted submission despite its minor differences from Nethack. Might have to check back in with it when I have more time.
