I watched a clip of the interview where he made a statement about impeachment and his complaint was that it wouldn’t go anywhere, he didn’t say he wouldn’t vote for it.

It’s still relevant because there are only 20 GOP seats total for reelection in 2026, and we need 67 to remove Trump, so even though he’s here until 2028 we need his vote, too.
yeah he is just this scenario where he is not acting the way he talked on the campaign trail and it coincides with literal brain damage. In USA, we have a tag-team political system also known as “good cop/bad cop”; both using the other to blame their many failures on. It’s very important that they lose every four to eight years (at maximum) to maintain plausible deniability.

The vote histories show a very clear line of separation of good and evil. Things are as bad as they are now because the USA has had 48 or less DNC senators for over 13 years and counting.
