First of all, it’s because they’ve had 48 or less senators for over 13 years.

      Secondly,

The Biden Admin created a corporate minimum tax rate and increased audits for the rich, protected pensions and overtime pay, outlawed “junk fees”, and worked to achieve every union demand for rail workers. They also attempted to forgive all student debt, but each attempt was blocked by Republican state Attorney Generals for the duration of his term, so he was only able to forgive 188.8 Billion Dollars of Debt. Biden protected more federal lands than any president in the past century.

Under Obama, the DNC passed Medicaid Expansion which is now relied upon by roughly 70 Million Americans to pay for medical expenses. His FTC also investigated grocery chains for raising prices during the pandemic and keeping them there.

Clinton was responsible for the first US Government Surplus in decades and since.

In 1997 to 2003 the DNC was introducing bills to ban all non-individual spending on campaigns and to limit individual contributions, it passed and until 2007 was in effect, at which point it was dragged into court until the SCOTUS struck it down in 2010 Citizens United decision.

The DNC protected streams and forests while the GOP put a literal fucking Coal Lobbyist in charge of the EPA. This isn’t even a debate, you’re just full of shit.

Those are breadcrumb policies compared to the demands of people to actually make housing, cost of living and healthcare affordable. Going through dEcOrUm when the opponent doesn’t even play by the rules is being complicit and bending over to them, which is the criticism on the Democrats. The Dems cave so easily and conveniently use the excuse of not controlling both houses, even though not controlling both houses has never been the issue for their Republican counterparts.

If Dems are actually serious about being opposition, they would do the same obstructionist tactics that the Republicans do. Instead, Dems play soft by watering down popular policies to appease Republicans, who never even compromise. Or they blame “not controlling both houses” as convenient “get out free from jail” card when that does not even stop Republicans.

Honestly, Americans are brainwashed by corporate media and pacified from taking action. The silly blind faith on passive electoralism by “vOtiNg lEsSeR eViL” instead of activism. The folks who ended the first Gilded age and elected the two Roosevelts will be ashamed at how spoiled and spineless their descendants have been. Because even the affluent liberals would rather see democracy end, than their property prices or stock investment go down by electing progressives. It is very telling that you never addressed about primary. So i guess you are one of the rich liberals who are pieces of shit who keep voting down affordable housing, and thereby alienating the poor and drive them towards populism we’re seeing now?

Giving Healthcare to 70 Million people is not breadcrumbs, and it would have covered almost everyone if not for lone Independent holdout Joe Leiberman.

The fact that you think all progress is bullshit unless its your immediate uncompromising Utopia is idiocy.

Medicare is better than nothing, but still could be better to have more affordable healthcare, which most other countries, including poor ones, already have.

The typical mindset of “lesser evil”, “perfect is the enemy of good” or “utopia is idiocy” are thought terminating clichés in other countries by guess whom? Conservatives. You probably own stocks in United Health.

Somehow you’ve mental gymnastics’ed your way into ignoring a core point I made in the immediate previous comment that the affordable healthcare you’re describing would have been passed by the DNC if not for an independent refusing to vote for it.

The DNC have been watering down popular policies all the time to appease their donors and use many excuses to get away from backlash. They get some Democrat members to “cross the aisle”, and those individuals are conveniently either retiring or not getting elected anytime soon so they don’t have to face being voted out. Most Americans see this manipulative tactic by the DNC except you and neoliberals.

The Independents have been watering down popular policies

                  In this case.

Sorry to hear that you oppose progress and want 70 Million people thrown off healthcare coverage.

And those 70 million prefer socialised healthcare, instead of their life being at the whim of the likes of United Healthcare who would reject their health insurance claim for breaking a toe. It’s very telling you don’t advocate for primarying for progressives to replace the DNC. I guess you benefit financially from the system, which is a typical conservative and neoliberal attitude that ironically empowers the far right even more.
