How is GoT making it back into the periphery after it ended so poorly ages ago?
It’s not, it’s just the least fun way of being introduced to Ed Sheeran because of the poor ending that ruins the entire experience.
I’d say hearing his “music” is a worse way, but that’s subjective.
Honestly I think his music is mostly… Uninteresting. GoT however turns into such a disappointment that his appearance just happens to contribute to. Not because he specifically does much wrong, but because he’s shoved in there in a kind of unnatural way where it feels like we’re meant to say “look, it’s Ed Sheeran”!
That’s basically what played out. As i remember it when it happened, that was all because the actress that played Aria loved him, and they did it to please her.
It would’ve been much better if Aria slit his throat moment he tried to reach for an instrument

I remember not knowing anything about it and then the FPS changed or the lighting and cinematography changed and I leaned over to my wife and said “celebrity appearance” and then…BAM a music video in the middle of the fucking episode
Yeah celebrity guest stars are weird. I remember when the Simpsons used to have a few episodes without any celebrity voices every once in awhile.
