As someone living in LA I’m going fucking insane from people who:
- don’t and have never lived here
- know nothing about California history or politics
- know nothing about the fucking LAPD
that are crying about how everyone protesting is doing it wrong for whatever dumb shit reason they’ve had filtered down to them from Fox News.
Shut the fuck up! There are exactly two steps to take if you feel this way:
- Get offline
- Go tell the protestors in person
If you can’t do step 2, you can definitely do step 1.

I think he thinks I’m a sock puppet of someone else. I don’t even know who he thinks I am. I had Kropotkin quotes on my door in college. I’m no fascist. You can look at my post and comment history.
I once saw him argue with someone over something stupid and ban the user. I warned others. He freaked out. I didn’t realize that he had history with that other user.
I try to avoid him but as I said, I don’t look at usernames.

There was absolutely nothing for over a year. In a post to Flying Squid you even mentioned that your ban threatening was justified because of past history with that user. (Which I was unaware of.)
In the post you banned me for, you replied to me. I wasn’t even aware it was you. This is the reply back that you banned me for. That thread had far more aggressive replies.
And again: Why are you angry with me because I upvoted you and completely agreed with you?

You came onto /c/TenForward and in a single post started making arguments about how the Spore Drive worked, started actively arguing about how it was being powered and started getting antagonistic.
Now you are the one making things up. I linked the post. I made a post. You replied to me. I replied back defending my position. There were no insults. There was no back and forth. There was your post and my reply. Other posts by other users in that thread were far more hostile.
I messaged Flying Squid and he had no idea what was going on and was busy with his move to England. So your claim “all the mods” is a lie.
I read content and reply. I don’t care who posts. I don’t keep grudges unless it comes up in a conversation about past problems. Too bad if you don’t like that I agree with and up vote your content. Block me.
Yeah honestly the dude is another one of these unhinged chronic posters who is clearly taking out a lot of frustration on here against the other unhinged chronic posters of Lemmy.
The problem is you never really know from the outside who these people are maintaining a grudge against because they are the same kind of chronic posting weirdo, or which are delusions.
