[NSW, SA, QLD] NEW Customers Only: 41.93 Kwh Fox ESS Eq4800 Solar Battery from $5,199 @ Aussie Solar Batteries

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/925016

Still one of the most insane uplifts I’ve ever seen, a 40kwh battery for 5-7k depending on inverter size

3 years ago it was 14-15k for 13kwh or lower

I recently came across Humble Bundle which offers bundles of software/books/games under a pay-what-you-can policy and donates proceeds tot charity. It’s legit - I recently picked up a bundle of books by the SciFi author Martha Wells (advertised by her so its above board).

I managed to find some Calvin Klein jeans for $20. They’re a little bit too swish for my area though… I might save them for special occasions. They also need to be shortened so good luck with getting around to that.

I need to find somewhere to put my detergent so it doesn’t tip over and leak, wasting laundry sauce.

I also have some more patching to do.

Is anyone else having trouble finding any dishwasher tablets or packs at Aldi?

I was able to find Fairy packs on sale at Coles, but it still works out to like $0.40 or so per wash.

If you’re not picky Coles has own brand (Coles Ultra) tablets at a unit cost of .15 or the 1kg powder version is .39 per 100g.

Aldi theoretically has a few options for Logix brand in stock (.37/100g, .14, .25) but you’d probably have to try and check the stock for your store or give them a ring. They don’t always have everything. Plus the website really isn’t as good as 15 years ago when you could make a shopping list.

One strap is fraying and ripping off my backpack… and the metal attachment for the pull tab broke, not just the tab itself which could have been replaced. But it’s a two pull zipper so could just open and close with the other tab.

I wonder if I can repair it securely or if it would just tear out again or the seam would split. I could reinforce it by doubling the end over which might make it shorter or maybe by using a patch.

I could just replace it but the equivalent now is $40 when the same thing used to be $20, plus it would be a shame to send a still working bag to landfill.
