            Of course. It is very hard to stay most of the day in bed, unless you are depressed. The youtube comments are all agreeing that this video pictures depression, but I agree with you that the people pictured are obvionsly not depressed.

            So why do they do this? What is their purpose? What do they gain by staying in bed?

            This “bed rotting” is exactly the live style people suffering from post covid andME/CFS have to adopt to be able to survive, just look into !ME/[email protected] or r/cfs. (sorry for pointing to reddit - !ME/[email protected] is just pretty small and more technical, r/cfs is detter if you want to get an idea what is it like to suffer from chronic fatigue.)
