The U.S. military is upgrading White House facilities for the new East Wing, the administration said on Monday, after U.S. President Donald Trump said the ballroom would be built atop a “massive” fortified complex.

    On the other hand, that makes the White House a valid military target. Sure, DC has several bases in the vicinity, but now they can expect a missile right in the center (-ish).
