DuneMud has been going since 1992.
Ultima Online is still active. Came out in 1997.
There are probably a few MUDs older than that still active, but I don’t know any myself. I don’t THINK Materia Magica is older but I honestly don’t know when it started.
Edit: MM started in 1995. Wow.
MUDs were my first thought. Haven’t logged into one since probably ‘94-‘95. Actually met a few friends on there.

Yeah, same for me. My oldest character is 2006 but I mainly just do trading and see how high I can stack isk these days.
