I just watched the first episode of Pluribus and holy shit I put off watching this for too long.
The episode was great. At first it started off kind of awkward, as it is a Giligan show I expected it t be, but holy moly did it ramp up fast.
I am stoked for episode 2 this Thursday.
Honestly Apple TV shows in general seem to punch above their weight this one was definitely a surprise!
Apple TV is really leaning into the SciFi and it is awesome. It is really nice to have a bunch of well funded sci fi shows.
Hoping they get announced as the stewards of the Red Rising series 😅🤞

Really been enjoying Shrinking from Apple TV and Severance obviously.
Pluribus has ruined others for me so far this year. No new show has gripped me like this in a loooong time. Top quality writing, acting, and cinematography.
The pilot was amazing, but it did set a bar that I felt the rest of the season couldn’t surpass. I’m still looking forward to Season 2 though

This and Murderbot give me hope that they’ll get Neuromancer right.

It’s an excellent series, I look forward to what comes next but hate to remember that season 2 is still a ways off.
I feel like the whole thing is going to be a good binge watch when it’s eventually all out there.

Yeah, season 2 not expected until late 2027 at the earliest.
IMO, I’m okay with letting Vince Gilligan cook to make sure it’s done right. But it does sting a bit when you can’t wait to see what comes next after season 1.
There always is now. Higher production budgets mean less episodes and longer waits.

I was in the same boat and finally watched it on a flight awhile back. Very cerebral and an interesting concept all around. For sure worth a watch and one of the few shows that lived up to the hype as of late.
I was in a show hole and realized that I had this one on my list, I am glad it started off with a bang!
I hate having to wait for the next season. Season 1 was great and hope they keep it up in season 2
