I love the killdozer guy for one reason alone.

he set an example of what a singular person is capable of when they have nothing left to lose. it was the moral our government wanted to hide the most, so they focused entirely on the psychopath he was.

He had nothing left to lose, but he still had the means to armor and fuel his bulldozer and by a bunch of ammo to go on his drive.

Most people with nothing left to lose don’t have those.

Building up massive credit card debt was always my dad’s plan at the end. But sudden heart failure got him before that.

A lot of people get shit on by their neighbors. Some deserve it. Whether killdozer guy deserved it or not his response was just wrong. In the end though the only person he killed was himself.

so nice to see rational takes on killdozer.

i still see t-shirts trying to cast him as heroic or edgy or cool when the actual story plays out like a thin skinned entitled piss baby who thought the solution to petty personal grudges was a lone wolf rampage across town.

Marvin Heemeyer, Doomsday prepper and all round narcissistic asshat built up a catalogue of people who supposedly wronged him, in particular the city Council who sued him after he refused to pay to tie into the existing sewer network and instead dumped his waste into a ditch at the edge of his property.

He then proceeded to customise a bulldozer and went into a rampage destroying buildings, ultimately becoming stuck and then he shot himself rather than be arrested.

Call me a hypocrite but I love General Grant, hate Lee, and simultaneously hate glorifying attempted serial killers such as Killdozer.

I don’t think Heymeer intended to kill anyone, otherwise he would have chosen a weapon that moves faster than jogging speed.

You can tell he never intended to kill anyone by the fact that he had a bunch of guns strapped to his tank, and he drove into a building that he thought had children in it. The only reason he failed to kill anyone was because he was an incompetent piece of shit and the town was mostly evacuated in time

He shot at a large collection of propane canisters and a nearby transformer intending to ignite it. It would have vaporized everyone nearby and injured people within a half mile radius.

Then you should have taken that stance initially instead of pivoting to it after being corrected the first time.
