Hello. Over the past few years, there hasn’t been a consensual, unforced, permitted way to sleep, to acquire food, and to obtain other basic requisites. I live in the Phoenix, Arizona metro-area. There’s also been regular violence & gaslighting toward me, that seems quite normalized, even within family & police; this includes being attacked with weapons & death threats, and having belongings destroyed.

Someone living with me destroyed three of my laptops in rage. I’ve been requesting for this person to simply apologize & commit to non-violence toward me, and for (another) replacement Linux laptop. I’ve been requesting for family to replace the laptop, because this seems appropriate, though I also think it’s appropriate if it’s replaced by others online. I’m unable to tolerate the precedent that people can just be violent toward me whenever.

Without commitment to a replacement laptop plus non-violence, then I’m planning to go on a walking tour to the Navajo Nation on the third day after today. A Navajo man invited me to visit his place when I was homeless & in very poor sorts. There’s also places to visit from there too - e.g. a Buddhist monastery that says they accept those even if unable to pay. I know there’s many others in this city/state who are struggling to survive or find hope; qua anāgāmi/bodhisattva, I will allow anyone to join me who wishes to take refuge. If anyone takes issue with this plan, they may say so here.

For the sake of animals peacefully using the apartment space (e.g, to prevent mass-extermination), I do want to stay; I wish to continue developing the small backyard qua wildlife refuge/sanctuary, though this isn’t possible with current levels of violence. There’s also lots of other projects I’m trying to resume/finish.
