Immigrant workers from across the US raced to Florida to help rebuild after Hurricane Ian. But now, nearly a year later and days after another major hurricane hit, some of those workers say this time they’re staying home.
It won’t go that far unless people stop wanting to live in Florida. Since they are still building condos at the 500k+ level as fast as possible, I doubt they see significant decline.
I can see Florida becoming the new Detroit over the next few storm seasons because of this.

Those condos are going to be 5M+ when every insurance company refuses to do business in Florida.
