28·1 year agoHealthcare was barely even discussed during the last election. Trump has no plans to improve it and Harris didn’t campaign on it. We can’t just directly vote for laws, we have to elect leaders that would write a bill and vote for it. And pretty much everyone in Congress is bought out by Big Pharma, which has more money than god so it buys elections.

11·2 years agoThere is ongoing debate over how acetaminophen works… We still don’t entirely know but anyone can buy it OTC and even take so much that it kills them. Mechanisms are important, but far from the only criteria we have for determining if a drug is “safe.”
This is according to a few studies that have questionable methodologies, such as how they measure “creativity” but yeah, in general drugs only bring out what already exists in someone’s personality. If you’re a really creative person to begin with, drugs can shift your perspective, which can be useful. But it isn’t magic smart people juice.

IDK if you’re aware, but invading Mexico is increasingly becoming a serious strategy on the right. So arguing against it is relevant, even if it’s totally bonkers to anyone using logic.
