While yes, he also wrote an entire book skewering and denouncing American evangelical xtians. I am very critical of anyone who inserts religion into philosophical ideas, and he does not. I’ve read most of his books and couldn’t come up with an example of him proselytizing.
I love Hedges and have read most of his books. There are some YT videos of him and he is not a bad orator by any stretch. I’ve found him to be inspired, especially his earlier / older stuff.

I had a bug similar to this for years. I tried multiple distros, DEs, hdmi cables, display port cables, etc etc. I didn’t want suspend, but I really need screen blanking. I finally had a revelation deep in some forum somewhere that mentioned some feature on my monitor. I forget what it was exactly, but it was an ‘auto’ something that prevented the computer itself from doing anything.

How is Debt? I finished Dawn of Everything recently and found it one of the single most enlightening books I’ve ever read. I thoroughly enjoy Graeber’s style.
I can attest that SteamOS does work on my rigs that are AMD gpu/cpu. It actually works great. I haven’t had one single issue. But I don’t do multiplayer games either.
