39·2 years agoSeems like a lot of these handhelds are rushed and lacking R&D. Makes the steam deck seem like an even better option

Technology@lemmy.ml•GPT-4 performance comparable with physicians on official medical board residency examinations. Model performance near or above official passing rate in all medical specialties tested
10·2 years agoNeat but I don’t think LLMs are the way to go for these sort of things
Seems targeted. Scary

I believe you can go to any Mazda dealership and complain your infotainment is “slow.” They should upgrade the firmware for free

I’ve always been a power user but never minded Windows until W11. Luckily WSL was a great gateway drug for me and I ended up switching to Linux full-time after living inside WSL for a few weeks.
Think the smallest modern car we got was the Toyota Yaris which was a rebranded Mazda2. And that got axed due to low sales. Consumers need more of an incentive to downsize

Google Pixel•The fix is in for the Pixel’s nasty multi-user bug on Android 14English
5·2 years agoThat’s a pretty bag bug. Have had similar (but not nearly as bad) experiences with multi users in the past. It’s not a thing many people use so I suppose they don’t test it
I was in a similar position earlier this year. Problem was most non smart TVs were business grade and very expensive. Ended up with a Samsung Smart TV but didn’t hook it up to the Internet. Fits my needs and remote is only ever used for changing HDMI devices. It boots up in about 10 seconds.
Isn’t the whole point of assembly that there is no compiler?
Hard style, you can find a bunch on SoundCloud
Interesting. Before I got my license, I was really worried I would have trouble focusing on driving. As it turns out for me I love doing it and actually seek it out. I kinda hyperfocus when I do it so I’m able to keep going for hours.
If anything, I feel refreshed after a nice drive. That said, if it’s straight highway for hours it’s a different story. I’ll need to rest after a long road trip. Especially if it was understimulating.

Isn’t that what Google and Samsung already do?
