If you have reservations about building a PC yourself due to lack of experience, there is nothing to be worried about. It is honestly a lot like building a Lego set. Most components are difficult to attach improperly. There are decent pre-built PCs out there but you will be paying a premium. You might even be able to save money in the long run by hiring a local shop or a friend with some experience to put a PC together for you.

This is the way most of the ones around me work. It’s extra frustrating because as soon as you start pressing extra buttons the cashier knows you are not giving a tip. I tip generously at dine in restaurants but tipping for pickup is ridiculous.

Chiming in based on some second hand experience passed on from friends who tried van life for varying periods of time. Even with friends willing to let you use their address and driveway, living in such a confined space seems rough if you plan to spend significant amounts of time there. Both of my friends gave up on the idea after less than a year, or two in the longest case. YMMV If you spend most of your time out and about.
