    So damn cute. This winter really wasn’t winter at all and i even had the rare fly in the house that I let live to feed one of my hearty jumpers that share my house.

    Love how varied salticidae are. Ours are horizontal tiger striped, black and white.

    Fun fact, they are in the same family of spiders that live at the highest elevations; Euophrys omnisuperstes, the Himalayan jumping spider.

    they are cute (for a spider) and sooo fast omg.

    also seem to have a bit of personality judging by the ones in my house over the years.

    They’re so adorable. I bought a new macro lens almost exclusively for small spiders, 😉. I haven’t had a chance to use it since we’re just now starting to thaw, but I’ll have some great photos soon. Here is one that jumped on me during an ATV trip last year.
