European Federalists@lemmy.world•Can small modular nuclear reactors solve Europe's energy woes?
1·12 days agoThis is why China invests heavily in renewable energy sources.
I have a pair of jeans with knee and hip pads. While I believe the stretch denim material helps keeping the pads in place, it also cuts off blood circulation on longer rides (around the knees). Got some cargo pants with protectionnow, which are wider and more comfortable. I don’t commute though, but want to to feel comfortable while having a coffee or lunch break during a ride…

Cheers - that‘s true. It is somehow like swimming: the skill never goes away completly, but I noticed already that it can give a feeling of false security …

News@lemmy.world•A wave of new polls shows Trump’s support cratering across the board.
2·3 months agoLet’s hope you’re right. However I think there is a larger scheme going on involving the big tech guys around Peter Thiel pulling the strings … and it’s obvious Vance is a puppet they put on the field.

1·3 months agoSorry for that noob question: i do not grasp the idea of vlan fully: will i still be able to connect to devices in the locked down vlan (the tv, the printer) from the devices in the “normal”, open Wifi (like my phone streaming to said tv).
Right now i have a gl-iNet router (brume 2) that uses adguard to block advertising sites (and also home phoning destinations of popular brands), but not sure if that does the trick already.

4·4 months agoThis. I literally only started to use WhatsApp and FaceBook when i moved to Spain, because otherwise it’s impossible to find, evaluate and contact any business here. Need a craftsman? Reserve a table in a restaurant? -> whatsapp
Here, people have not the slightest conscientiousness about data protection policies

2·4 months agoThat’s interesting - I have a C1 (2021). Where or how do you block these updates and have it connected to your local network?

and yet, Americans that can think no further than their county limits will steadfastly stand by their incompetent President…
