I mostly paint for blood bowl so tend to buy colours based on what my next team needs, then go with an eye towards what might have broader utility, so can’t really recommend a basic spread. That being said, there are some basics that get used regardless of team.
Cavalry brown, leather brown, beige brown, and pale sand would cover a wide variety for skin, clothes, ground, etc. pale sand is amazing for bone and the like. Cavalry brown ends up in so many of my colour schemes, but that’s maybe a personal preference thing.
Black grey and white grey are going to cover 90% of your black/white needs. Pure black is nice but not strictly necessary, and pure white is overkill most of the time.
Then just get primary and secondary colours as you need them, one darker one lighter and you’ll have plenty of options when mixing. I recommend this over fewer paints and mixing primaries to get secondaries because the more you mix the less vibrant and saturated your colours will be.
If you’re getting metalics, it is worth it to splurge on vallejo metal colour airbrush paint. It’s just that much better. I have dull aluminium and magnesium which I can mix and match to get a range of regular metal looks. The texture is perfect out of the bottle without thinning. Every time I reach for my game color brassy brass or polished gold I struggle to thin it well and regret the couple dollars I saved.
Where possible get model colour. Game colour is usually fine but it’s sometimes hit or miss. That being said I’ve gotten an unreasonable amount of mileage out of turquoise and jade green game color + a tiny bit of black grey for fantasy skin.
I paint in a layered, build up from dark to light style and use a lot of blending though so ymmv if you want a different style

It’s correlated with votes. Those that donate to a candidate are almost guaranteed to vote for them. Especially since it’s less money on average from more people.
If these are people who signed up to the party due to this campaign, it also shows he can build a movement.

I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet so I don’t know the features. Though I think it also does (local) image recognition to help identify things.

He didn’t commit enough war crimes (lacks leadership mindset)

Oh it’s just going to be a little thing with a couple friends. Gleba certainly has a propensity for falling apart…

Can you elaborate on your critique of Mars Horizon? Someone else recommended it so I have been looking in to it.

I once read a theoretical discussion of strategic voting in ranked ballot voting. I don’t remember the specifics, but my take away was the situations involved were way too specific to be practically relevant. Just vote your heart and let the system do its job.

Probably the closest suggestion so far! Thanks

That’s something else entirely IMO. … But I am planning to do a coop Space Exploration run soon!

Hmm. Different scale for sure, but Distant Worlds 2 is in my backlog so I should probably try it again before Aurora. Thanks for the suggestion!

Mars Horizon looks fun, thanks! Definitely more of a straight up KSP successor than a strategy game, but it might scratch the itch enough to save me a few hundred hours from trying Aurora.

Motorcycle breeding mechanics would be a very different game 😂

Imagine if they got The Hu to do the soundtrack…

Inside of me there are two wolves:
“Wow, systems driven with travel based objectives, that’s a good setup mechanically for a game”
“horse”

It’s possible it’s just normal sample variance. The hardware survey isn’t exactly a census.

Some sort of signal emitter maybe? So the rescue team knows to look where the hero rat triggered it.
I’m also new to this and have been using Mint for my server, since it’s what I am using for my desktop. I’m planning on testing out moving it to Debian. If I’m being honest, the real reason is because the logo is cooler.
This makes sense. I can’t see Trump being willing to back down, but I can see corporate pressure doing it.
