This was the biggest takeaway from inside the mannosphere with Louis Theroux. It’s all just because this kind of content gets clicks. At the end, the biggest one just comes out and is like “yeah, these guys are just saying all the se talking points, nothing left in the mannosphere. That’s why we’ve got to get into politics, it’s the next frontier.” (Or something to that effect, I’m still pretty fucked up on post surgery drugs.)
This reminds me of when Keith Olbermann had a chat with Sean Hannity (or someone like that). Keith, for those that don’t know, was a sports commentator that became a left-leaning political commentator and Hannity is a right-wing hack on Fox News. Keith spoke about having a private chat with Hannity and he was taken aback by how little Hannity actually believed in his stuff. It was all performative.
I think we also got a peak of that during the Dominion lawsuit as well.
