João "Kama" Silva (born November 12, 1999) is a Brazilian Age of Mythology player who is currently playing for Clan Age of Kings.
Overview
[edit]Kama (João Alexandre) is a Brazilian Age of Mythology: Retold player and coach. As of 2025–2026, he is regarded as one of the top Brazilian players in the competitive scene. He is currently a member of CaOK Clan, having joined on 28 February 2026.
Kama was introduced to Age of Mythology in 2010 after watching his cousin play. Without access to a personal computer at the time, he began actively playing in 2013–2014 through Gameranger and Hamachi, joining his first clan, GDS, and entering multiplayer competition.
Between 2014 and 2020, he played intermittently while focusing primarily on other competitive titles such as League of Legends and MMORPGs including Albion Online, Cabal Online, Perfect World, and Grand Chase.
In 2021, he began taking ranked competition seriously in Age of Mythology: Extended Edition, joining the Brazilian community and the CUD Clan, while also competing on Voobly. After transitioning fully to Voobly due to performance limitations in Extended Edition, he reached a peak rating of 1897. During this era, he was primarily known as a Hades and Oranos specialist, while also frequently playing Norse civilizations.
With the release of Age of Mythology: Retold in 2024, Kama quickly adapted to the new competitive environment. He initially specialized as a Freyr main, but rapidly expanded his god pool to a high competitive level across all civilizations. By late 2025, he had begun coaching other players.
In Brazilian tournaments, he achieved notable results, including:
Winning a Brazilian C-Tier tournament with only one map loss throughout the event.
Recording a 24-map win streak in a Brazilian B-Tier tournament before dropping his first map.
Holding an overall Brazilian tournament record of 53 wins and 11 losses (matches).
His ladder peak in Age of Mythology: Retold reached 1965 Elo (Top 26 Ladder). Although he does not prioritize ranked ladder grinding and instead focuses primarily on private scrims and structured practice, he has recorded victories over several top-ranked players in major events, including wins against elite competitors in the Tier S tournament Pandora's Box 2 Qualifiers. During the playoffs of the event, he was referred to as a “Dark Horse” by community caster BoitTV, highlighting his unexpected deep run against established favorites.
