Yoon "LowHigh" Sun-woong is a South Korean Fighting Games player currently representing DRX.
He is an EVO champion, having won Tekken 7 in 2018, and a Tekken World Tour champion, having won the 2025 finals for Tekken 8.
Biography
[edit]LowHigh first became locally known as a prominent Tekken 6 player when he was in high school, having participated in Korean tournaments such as Tekken Clash in 2011.[1] In Tekken Tag Tournament 2, he played several characters including Bryan, Law, Leo and Lars. He took a break from the game in 2013 due to mandatory military service.[2]
LowHigh started travelling internationally after his services and the 2015 release of Tekken 7, quickly becoming recognized one of the top Shaheen players in the world. His efforts culminated in his first EVO championship in August 2018 after he double eliminated Tekken legend Qudans throughout his top 8 run. The win helped him sign with UYU in December of that year, a team he remained with until 2023.
After taking a break from competition for 2021 and 2022, he immediately made waves in his return to the Tekken World Tour with a 5th place finish at EVO Japan 2023. In the Tekken 8 era, LowHigh continues to prove his worth as a championship caliber player, becoming sponsored by DRX in February 2024. He achieved a 2nd place finish at the 2025 Esports World Cup, and took home his first TWT championship at the end of the same season with a 6-0 win against Mangja in the grand finals.
