How to Play Wildcard
[edit]Wildcard is a 2v2 Collectible Card Action Game (CCAG) that combines third-person combat with strategic deck-building. You’ll choose a Champion, build a deck, and team up to battle in real-time matches where positioning, timing, and smart plays lead to victory.
Build Your Deck
[edit]Before jumping into battle, each player builds a deck that includes:
- 10 Summons: Creature cards you cast into the arena. Each has unique stats and roles (tank, DPS, support, etc.).
- 3 Talents: Passive upgrades that support and enhance your Champion’s abilities.
- 3 Wildcards: Powerful cards that appear in the arena on a timer and can buff your team when acquired.
Build around your Champion’s strengths and playstyle—whether you prefer aggressive pushes, strong defense, or control.
Team Up and Choose a Champion
[edit]Choose from a growing roster of Champions, each with their own style and abilities. You’ll control your Champion directly in a third-person view, while casting your Summons and coordinating plays with your teammate.
Throughout the match, the goal is to knock out the goalie, break the opponent’s Core, and score using your Summons and abilities.
How to Score a Goal
[edit]To score, you need to break through the opponent’s defenses:
- Defeat the Goalie to clear the way.
- Break the Core before the Goalie respawns.
- Score the Goal.
Win with Strategy
[edit]Wildcard isn’t about the Champion or the Summons, it’s about the Champion fighting alongside their Summons. Knowing when to push, when to defend, and where to play with your Summons makes all the difference.
- Coordinate with your teammate.
- Play strategically around objectives and respawns.
- Make clutch plays to swing control and set up game winning pushes.
- Always be summoning!
Choose your Champion, build your deck, and make your mark in the arena.
