    As is someone has to start from the beginning and progess again or the whole thing focuses on the humbling of a prideful and powerful MC?

    Struggling to think of a good example. Feels like a trope you see a lot in cozy fantasy where a powerful character has to adjust to a low stakes life. Maybe Curse of Chalion? It’s not a perfect fit but explores aspects of this idea.
