Iran is in such a different level that it didn’t even become a classical blunder. It has just been right-out impossible through most of history. Even though we have that famous “if you attack Persia a powerful empire will fall” one, that Trump managed to quote.

Actually by now Ukraine seems more of a never invade Russia in winter blunder, made by Russia itself. But a Princess Bride reference in these trying times is it’s own reward.
