  • Depends on your major and what kind of career you’re assuming for. Calculus is usually useless, unless you’re specifically a math or physics major, for example. A lot of majors have extra stuff thrown in there too provide a “well rounded education” but mostly you’re going to college for what’s effectively career training. But people tend to have to get jobs that have nothing to do with their majors. Colleges need to be more like trade school - teaching you mostly just what you need to do the job and maybe a few lower level classes in other areas at most.
