30·8 days agoThat’s kind of the point of the frameworks though? Electron apps suck not only because of resource footprint, they don’t look and feel native, if they have any accessibility it’s usually custom and different for every program. Too much customization is bad.
I remember the times before UI toolkits took over. These programs had soul and were beautiful in their own way, but you had to learn how UI elements worked in each of them separately. The same thing happens with web apps now. Tab and the other usual keyboard shortcuts rarely work, controls are all custom.

Windows cert -> you can also give your money to other companies, the cert doesn’t need to be from MS. But who cares, ask Windows users to buy it for you if they choose to continue using that OS.
How, with the 3-field rotation method from the middle ages? It was super sustainable but we’d need 3x more farmland

I’ve been using this style of UI literally yesterday on a WinXP machine and every time you hovered the cursor over a button it played back what the button does, and some extra information. But yeah, mouse-only.
Why not use openssl s_client?
Only the first build is so slow, the subsequent ones with new updates are a few minutes each.
Online dating used to be so good for weirdos like us! I wouldn’t dare making an account these days, it’s pointless with everything being centered about looks and a conversation starter that stands out from hundreds of others.

I’ve had a similar setup, and also found Wireguard unreliable. Went with Nebula and never looked back, not once I had a network problem caused by it.
