If it is to be considered a map, it needs a compass rose, period. I know where Constantinople, Trabzon, Izmir and Ankara are (roughly) located. That is not the issue.

Die Plaketten sind als Instrument wohl mittlerweile ziemlich unwirksam. Erstens basieren die Einstufungen auf veralteten Grenzwerten und mehr als 90 % der Fahrzeuge haben eine grüne Plakette, und zweitens haben parallel auch andere Maßnahmen zur Luftreinhaltung Erfolge gezeigt.

Solange die Grenzwerte für Luftqualität und die Einstufung der Fahrzeuge nicht angepasst werden, können wir uns das Kleben von grünen Plaketten effektiv wohl sparen. Steht ja auch so ähnlich im Beitrag.

Nach Angaben des Amtes für Umweltschutz werden seit dem Jahr 2019 an allen offiziellen Leipziger Messstationen die gesetzlichen Grenzwerte für Feinstaub und Stickstoffdioxid eingehalten. Auch aktuelle Prognosen zeigen, dass diese Werte dauerhaft und auch ohne Umweltzone deutlich unter den gesetzlichen Vorgaben bleiben.

So the “A” means it’s the original recipe. If they had introduced the “B” or “C” variant, it would have been sightly changed/improved, but all later variants would still fit the plate that was originally designed to have the “A” sausage on it.
