I wandered in the fediverse
To brighten up my day;
I found a funny story where
A turd won’t flush away.It made me laugh, it made me cry:
The cleaner had to watch him try,
But while she gazed, it was then proved
The crap was easily removed. And senseless, she would think it was
For her to have to see, because
His Swedish language really was
Quite useless, and we see that it
Did not explain this hapless git
Or why he showed her this big shit.So mystified she still will be
And puzzzled for eternity:
This stranger and the giant poo
He weirdly showed her in the loo.I laughed and chuckled, then I see
The person posting next to me -
A Poem_for_your_sprog is here!
A legend! - wow! - from yesteryear!I’ll take this chance to tell you how
Your random poems, then and now,
Have brought me joy. And that is why,
Without help from LLMs, I
Have tried to say in silly rhymes
A thank you for the happy times
You’ve brought me.
What must she think?! 🤣
Thank you so much for my best laugh in a long while.

Enshittification@slrpnk.net•Amazon thanks loyal Kindle devotees by bricking their kit
21·2 days agoExcept that the file format hasn’t changed, the delivery methods haven’t changed, and these devices are perfectly capable of downloading new books from Amazon. This is not a technological decision. This is purely to extract more money from repeat customers.

1·5 days agoCongratulations on responding to the first paragraph of his post. https://lemmy.world/post/44873477/23080810 (The one that made you super cross. Sure nothing from your sandbox ever makes it into production. Great. Very wise and very careful.)
No congratulations on responding to any of the rest of what I said.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Would it be silly of me to get a small dog if I am a little afraid of bigger ones?
3·5 days agoSmall dogs often feel intimidated and react to that with fear and aggression. They need good, strong training from owners who exude calm and provide reassuring safety around larger dogs if they’re not to live up to the stereotype of yappy snarly little anxious furballs of anger.
Ah, you’re so right. They should have campaigned on a platform of “Republicans will block our every move. There’s no point pretending we can achieve anything in government unless we win both houses. Stay home and keep your expectations low.”
It was standard fake-leftist trump-lie-repeating counterfactual shit. No thank you. You’re still sticking to the braindead genocide joe line of reasoning even now. There is no hope for the return of rationaility. I’m speaking to someone who actually believed in trump!

1·5 days agoAh yes, lovely mcp. Lovely anthropic mcp. Make sure you give anthropic lots of money and use their tools and then you’ll be completely safe plugging the output of the llm into the os. Definitely fine yes.
I bet you your contract with them says they’re not liable for shit their llm does to your files, your environment or your repositories, mcp or no mcp.
Fool.
Bet you were saying this about Gaza before Trump started another war.
Preferably if the obnoxious wanker in the next door cell blocked and obstructed your attempts at every turn, he would get fired instead, or your boss is a shit boss who has no idea whatsoever what’s going on at your firm, and he should be fired as well as the obnoxious wanker.
How can you not see that it was a line? Trump doesn’t have principles, he never has had any and never has had any. What he has is the ability to sell people his promises to give them what they want. But trumps promises and assertions are no more meaningful than the sound of the wind and his “best things” are all as hollow as the call of the srens luring the sailors to their deaths.
If you wanted Trump held responsible, you needed to stop him from becoming president. It’s way too late now. Anyways, the supreme court that he stuffed declared him exempt from prosecution for official acts as president. Good luck with the responsibility hope you had. Accountability died forever on election day. He’ll die free of consequences.

Turns out deporting a bunch of people with a different shade of skin or a different accent didn’t make everyone left behind richer.
All the money still goes to the multinational corporations who don’t pay their taxes, the CEOs who are shielded from taxes, the shareholders who pay less taxes and the private equity investors who borrow big to buy companies then somehow magically transfer that debt to the company, and who also get a big tax discount compared to those of us who earn our money.
Turns out it was never the immigrants making Americans poor in the first place. Who knew?!
