Hello, this is the first I hear about gumroad, I honestly did not even knew about it I just wanted an indie place so it was not just on kindle for people who is more privacy oriented to have an option, I could had code a site and host it but this is the first time I am doing this kind of literature, so wanted to test the waters before I actually a full store on my own. So far I got people to buy it on gumroad with no problem, nobody has complained so far 🤷 do you know a indie platform that will be better? I could set it up, I actually want to support people that are into not using big-tech like amazon.

I find reticulum to be superior in many ways, mostly because it does pages/images/voice not just messages, but also because they build in some gateways, you can connect to people with out MQTT(what you need in meshstastic to connect people from across continents etc) basically you can use any gateway form/protocol like a TCP/IP gateway, knowing that if the internet goes down you can only connect to the radio or satellite mesh etc etc but is good as it gives more options so is not useless to only off greed personal

Better to try to use revolt.chat for those that need voice chat while gaming with the guild, I am in 3 guilds and all moved to revolt.chat also the Arch community is big on it with hundreds of users in their revolt server
Our collective runs Dendrite since alpha, is now on late Beta, but I will only recomend to those that like to tinker and configure things and have patience, Sypnapse is much slower but is been around longer since it was the POC such why is on python, nobody in their mind will run such a service on python if it was not a POC, but it got out of hand and next thing you know there was tons of servers running with the POC so it became the most stable and on pair with the protocol, Dendrite is the one that they always had in mind
