dreamshaper12 This album is quite honestly incredible. Top to bottom incredible songs. As a fan of the Church of the Cosmic Skull, and of Bill’s solo work, finding out about Massive Hassle has been just another gem to add to the ever growing list. A list that I hope will get longer and longer as time goes on. The incredible vocals between the Brothers Fisher is a real highlight to these songs, as well as the strength of the grooves from both the Guitar and Drums. Just a masterwork and can’t wait for more! Favorite track: Chorus of the Dawn.

Crap is your life Crap is your life Crap is your life Why is everything so shite in my life? I tried to get out of the gaff Because I thought that it could be a bit of a laugh I drove hours to walk up a hill To drive back home again and now I feel ill I don't know why I can't Be arsed to do anything Crap is your life Crap is your life Crap is your life Why is everything so shite in my life? I went down to the shop I couldn't get the things I thought that I’d want So I went on the net Now I don't want the things I thought I should get I don't know why I can't Be arsed to do anything See your old pals for a pint Twenty minutes in, it's totally shite Sit, chat, sit back and try to relax This conversation needs to be sacked I don't know why I can't Be arsed to do anything Crap is your life Crap is your life Crap is your life Crap is your life

Put it all on my head Feed the birds that I fed Three in the morning Daylight ain’t dawning Drag yourself from the bed Chorus of the Dawn Chorus of the Dawn Chorus of the Dawn Son, you're coming with me Boys, why aren't you ready Tapes'll be playing Listen when I’m saying We'll walk through the woods 'til we hear Chorus of the Dawn Chorus of the Dawn Chorus of the Dawn

Trying to leave a room without a view Couldn't find the will to see it through Even though I'm right there at the door The keys are pulling down towards the floor Oh you said that thought you'd cracked it Oh but in fact you sacked it Oh you said that you'd taken hold of it Oh it wasn't the way you sold it Gone again To come back again To get lost again Lost in the changes Taping up the only window frame Wading through the cold and dead remains Now they’re trying to get me down the phone Digging through the skin into the bone Oh you said that you thought you'd cracked it Oh but in fact you sacked it Oh you said that you'd taken hold of it Oh it wasn't the way you sold it Gone again To come back again To get lost again Lost in the changes

Stay Sound 04:34
A sea of faces Look over there Where bricks and mortar have risen Up through the air Now we'll be strangers Within the walls You can have everything you want Or nothing at all Hey come around To what we found There is a song that says Stay sound A locomotive Is in the hill And there’s a terrible feeling That it will kill All that is gracious All that is grand And it is coming for you now Extend your hand Hey come around To what we found There is a song that says Stay sound They’ll break the atom They’ll break you down Down at the foot of the hill In the ground Hey come around To what we found There is a song that says Stay sound

Right Time 03:57
And I been waiting for the right time But it doesn't ever come around All the boys are bringing up a family And I'm still swinging around the town I've been thinking of the old times When we used to hang about Nowhere to go, nowhere to be But sometimes you just gotta get out Singin’ na na na na na A few Martinis Back on the ciggies Piling on the pints after last orders at the old King Bill It seems the only way But maybe it's just making me ill I've been drinking down in the bodega All my drinking buddies getting younger and younger and younger The old guard have all gone home But the thirst is getting stronger and stronger Singin' na na na na na Maybe I'm losing it Maybe I'm losing my mind Maybe I'm a loser baby Or maybe loose is the thing we're trying to find But these streets are getting dirty And the night is getting cold Surely this ain't no place to drag up a new life But baby maybe I'm getting old Sometimes I sit and wonder what the point is Maybe you mommas and papas haven't got it wrong But I guess I'll sing my song Someone might sing along After we're gone Singin' na na na na na

Hey, are you thinking the same thing? Hey, do you wanna go home? Hey, are you thinking the same thing? No, no, wait, no Where you gonna go? Deeper into the morrow Hey, do you want to go sailing? Sail on out of this place? Or maybe we're thinking the same thing? Yes, yes hold it down Yes, you can hold your ground Don't know who else is around Walk of shame Walk of shame Walk of shame Oh but I did it again Take it slowly Take it slowly No, no have some more It’s time to close the door What else are you living for Walk of shame Walk of shame Walk of shame You know That I did it again Walk of shame Walk of shame Walk of shame And I did it again Take it easy Take it easy Yes, yes it’s happening Everything that dreams could bring But now the birds have started to sing Walk of shame Walk of shame Walk of shame You know That I'll do it again Walk of shame Walk of shame Walk of shame And I’ll do it again

Tenspot 04:53
I been a long way Across the city The forests and the fields Ain’t what they seem We’ll be getting what we’re given Maybe never get forgiven When those blue lights Come screaming through the trees It’s been a long time We been waiting The sun’s been down twice And still there’s no sign Don’t think that we’re gonna get it Maybe time that we forget it The money’s gone And he’s not on the line I heard you talking about it
8.
They're gonna invade you Invade your mind They'll get right inside you Then you will find That everyone’s crazy And you're crazy too Hell is other people Whatever you do Down through the ages It's always the same It happens in stages They gave it a name They'll give you their reasons Again and again They'll give you their demons They'll give you their pain Somewhere sane In all of this We said we'd get better I’m reading your letter I’m already under Tearing asunder Somewhere sane In all of this There's dust on the mirror There's mould in the glass It's blurring the edges It's blurring the past Now I'm tired of playing Of playing it cool The mirror is saying The mirror concludes That all of your angels Got lost in the mist They've been out forgetting Forgetting all of this
