I Tested Opus 5.5 at Every Effort Level for Animation Design

Motion design is by far one of the most important parts of the design process. A well-crafted animated effect directly impacts how users feel about your design. Previously, I tested Opus 5.5 for creating UI design, and in this article, I’ll test Opus 5.5 with all effort levels for animation design.

What animation I’ll craft with Opus 5.5

I decided to create a loading animation for a travel booking service.

Users will see this animation when they submit a request to book a trip, and the system will work on making all arrangements. The time it will take for the system to process everything can be significant (in terms of user wait time, it could be 20–30 seconds), so the animation will serve two purposes:

  1. It will serve as a visual aid, keeping users from focusing on wait time.
  2. It will communicate brand visual identity (the animation should feel like a part of the brand language we use to communicate with our users)
